oh, the trials of life.
Life. It brings joys, it brings tears. It brings laughter, it brings moans. It brings cars, it slams them into the back of another car.
My car that I've had now for about 3 1/2 years, which was close to being paid off, was demolished yesterday in a lame accident. I would LOVE to claim that I had been traveling at about 100 mph, chasing down terrorists that were holding a vial of a deadly virus that they were about to release upon a crowded sporting event, and by ramming their car off the road, along with mine, I was able to save the nation, all at the cost of my car.
Instead, I was zipping along at insane, testosterone-driven 20 MPH. (no thrill can sedate the desire I have within me to fly.) I ran into the back of another car, which had to stop because the car in front of them decided it was imperative to stop, completely out of the blue, in order to create mayhem on 900 East in Provo.
I railed into the car in front of me, knocking them into the car in front of them. Turns out that their two cars were completely fine. Mine was destroyed. Car parts everywhere, (my car parts) and all that crap.
It's funny—I had just set some goals on Sunday, some of which included being smarter financially. Now... I am screwed.

Oh, Mike!! That sucks so bad! I'm so sorry for you. I'm glad you are alright, though.
More please....
